Ruling Allows Dockside Boat Operations by Landowners
United States Judge George M. Bourquin ruled that tourism or commercial boats may be run on lakes in Glacier National Park from docks owned by riparian landowners or by others with landowner consent, without federal director authorization. The Snyder case found no guilt as the landowners hold riparian rights. the park's regulation targets access, not navigation.
