Three Forks Montana June 1 mayor August Kunze 53 and his wife Louise 38 were shot and killed in the front yard of their home by the mayor’s half brother John Kunze. Ed Groves foreman at Kunze’s ranch said John crossed the street and opened fire after failing to stop. Police used tear gas to remove John from a barricaded residence as the pursuit continued into the night.
