Montana road spending nears completion in 1928 program
Montana's highway construction for 1928 is nearly finished with 2,253,261.85 spent by the state highway commission on about 250 miles of new road work and several bridges. Secretary W. O. Whipps said additional small jobs will be let August 17 and the Wolf Point Missouri river bridge will be contracted in September. The 1926 total on highway improvements will exceed 2,750,000.
