Drowning claims life of young man near Anaconda lake
Kenneth Tidwell 19 drowned in a boat overturning accident seven miles east of Anaconda. He and Vera Matosich 16 were thrown into 60 feet of water during a boat swap. Matosich was rescued by Glenn Tidwell 17 and others, but Kenneth remained missing. Dever Lodge and Granite counties deputies reported the incident occurred 22 miles west of Anaconda. Tidwell’s body had not been recovered at press time.
