Miss Ella Mae Fountain, 20, of Columbus, Ga., was found shot to death in a car north of Phenix City. J W Edmunds Jr., 25, of Phenix City, was found semi conscious with chest wounds. A pistol and four cartridges were recovered from the auto. Edmunds identified a man he did not know as the shooter. The incident, discovered by student W A Grow, is under police inquiry with page eight continuation.
