TWO BILLINGS MEN KILLED IN MACHINE ACCIDENT
In Colstrip south of Billings two men died when a coal stripping machine bucket crushed them during repair work. Mike Kenny about 34 and Ehner Winters about 27 were killed instantly. The bucket swung into a rock bank while the shovel operator did not know men were inside. Coroner F M Booth opened an inquiry. Kenny survived by a widow and nine children. Winters survived by a widow and two children. The accident marked the first fatal mishap since 1924 at the operation begun in Colstrip.
