Plans for Roosevelt Memorial Flanked by Water Corronades

Detailed design proposals describe a memorial to Theodore Roosevelt to be set near the Tidal Basin with monumental corroded colonnades and a central water column. The plan envisions a circular basin 280 feet in diameter, 600 feet from a nearby water feature, and fronted by a marble and glass structure. Traffic rerouted to the rear to accommodate the semi futuristic water feature.
