Northwest rails undercut exports delays weigh on grain trade

Atlanta Lothario Is Now Fertilizer

In Atlanta on December 6 a former customer summoned G Hall Davis head of an automobile agency to a spot near his business. Davis was shot to death while seated in his car in front of workers. W L Shippey a 28 year old grocery warehouse clerk fatally shot Davis five times then surrendered and proclaimed a belief Davis had been with his wife. An indictment for murder was drawn today.

Walter J. Hill of Meagher county and Mount Haggin Land and Investment Co of Deer Lodge county dominated the Chicago entries. Awards list baby bulls and heifers by name with multiple wins for Walter J. Explosion at Kill-All Disinfectant Plant Kills Three

A vapor explosion at the Kill-All Disinfectant plant on New York's East Side killed at least three men and injured nine, with two more missing. Quintero Sinks After Collision Near Iquique

At least 17 people drowned when the Chilean steamship Quintero sank after a collision with the steamer America off Punta Patelre near Iquique. The America rescued the captain and most of the crew. losses include Julio Miranda, the captain’s son, plus several officers and engineers.
