In Grenley Colorado on August 12 two well drillers from a Colorado outfit were electrocuted when a cable touched a live line. Victims were J. E. Ferrall, 34, chief operator, and Don Kahler, 28, helper. Ben Roblender narrowly escaped death, as he bent to pick up the cable when the two men collapsed.
