London July 15 Lord Inverforth former surveyor general of supplies to the British war office led worldwide raw material purchases for the government. He reports to the Ministry of munitions that by March 31 he paid into the British treasury 25 million dollars in profits since 1914. The gains come with large benefits as raw materials like wool hides leather flax and hemp supported military production and saved funds despite submarine losses. Insurance helped offset losses.
