New York April 24 Joseph M Schenck board chairman of the 20th Century Fox Film corporation was sentenced to three years in federal penitentiary and fined 20000 for evading 253692.52 in federal income taxes during 1934 and 1938. The 69 year old Russian born former druggist faced the court as his counsel minimized the charges and highlighted his philanthropy. Also sentenced was Joseph Moskowits his eastern representative and talent scout who was fined 10000 and ordered imprisoned one year and a day for abetting Schenck in the 1936 evasion. Bogota Colombia April 24 The army announced tonight a ill motored army plane with 14 persons aboard is missing on a flight from Cataya to Tarapaca in extreme southeastern Colombia.
