Johnson’s skull and other injuries were severe and recovery doubtful according to physicians.

Smithyne Oklahoma April 19 officers arrested Jesse Mattel 17 after a father was killed at his home in a ranching dispute. Police say the suspect shot his father during an argument about feeding stock on the Harrell ranch.
Washington reports on the death in Cuba of Thoman Walsh’s son, a 29 year old electrical technician. The widow Regina Pereyhaumiont de Trufin learned of the tragedy by telephone as she prepared to sail for Havana with concerns over her husband’s condition. Funeral plans were set for Colon Cemetery in Havana as the family mourns the loss amid political ties and wartime travel.
