London April 19 A libel action by Mrs Meurig Morris a spiritualist medium against the Daily Mail ended with a verdict for the defendants. Mrs Morris went into a trance in court addressing the judge in a deep masculine voice and was removed.

Dr. James Orbison, a Los Angeles psychiatrist, testifies amid sharp prosecution counterpoints as the case nears its conclusion.
Leigh Colvin of New York told the Woman's National Committee for Law Enforcement that wet Republicans have conceded President Hoover is a prohibition supporter and that his views cannot be changed. She warned that defeat for the party would follow if a wet plank is adopted while Hoover remains dry.

Posey H Ashworth, longtime power company employee in Great Falls for 22 years with earlier work at Doe Moardilaet plant, killed himself in his car. Police found him asleep in the vehicle and later said he drove away, apparently intending to end his life. The Ashworths had no children.

Havre April 12. Irene Gunn and Martie Wayne are in custody after an investigation into the sudden death of Orville Gibson on a road crew. New York dock master Buck McNeill saved his 274th drowning person in 21 years today diving off the Battery harbor to retrieve A. Mura ten a furrier who feared he would kill himself. McNeill called it nothing and said he would dry out.
Extradition papers moved for Lawson O Neil 82 of Sapulpa Oklahoma on charge linked to Custer State Bank robbery. Governor Erickson signature sought after Oklahoma City chief reports a suspect named Jack Fanders held in Sapulpa as the O Dell in the October 1931 robbery. He is the fifth man arrested in a spate of local bank robberies with three awaiting trial and one other still sought.

The mob’s driver Too Dark Taro lingered in isolation today after a patrol led by Boynton with Marty H Wondering present. Darkness hindered facial scrutiny of the mob.
