Sixteen more signed today leaving petition 47 short of the 145 needed to discharge the house ways and means committee from further consideration of the Full-O’Connor bill which would legalize 2.78 percent beer and tax at 3 cents a pint.

In Youngstown Ohio on April 13 1930 Eugene Albert Jordan weighed 15 ounces at birth and now at three months old weighs about three pounds one ounce. His twin siblings born nearby weighed two pounds or less but survived. The family Emmett and Mrs Jordan of Craig Beach Lake Milton note the baby’s rapid growth while comparing to other tiny infants reported in the district.
