Roy Harris, arrested in Buffalo, allegedly signed a statement claiming he and William Dunkin killed Joseph B. Elwell in New York last June. Harris says a woman named Mrs Fairchild hired them, promised $5,000, and paid $900 total, with Dunkin allegedly firing the fatal shot. Authorities withheld comment while pursuing details.
