Two trappers named O Lynn and Paul Johnson were reported to constable Howatt of Princeton for killing beaver on Roche River. The constable found beaver in their packs and brought them before Ernest Waterman J P who fined them 100 dollars plus costs. Costs totaled 85 percent.
