Anglicans to Build New Hedley Church on Webster Street

Hedley Anglicans plan a new 30 by 10 foot frame church on Webster Street between Scntt and Daly Avenues. The project, supported by Hon. L. W. Shatford through the building committee, will be electrified, furnished, and serve as worship and reading space. Estimated cost around $600 with Boel and Brus handling the contract.

Grain Distribution For Farmers By Order Of Minister

By instruction of the Minister of Agriculture a distribution of superior grain and potatoes will be offered to Canadian farmers during winter and spring. Samples include spring wheat white oats barley and field peas from Ottawa with potatoes sent free by mail. Each farm may receive one grain and one potato sample, applications must be signed and separate, and no printed forms accepted. Early requests preferred. late applications may be delayed.
