Moment Bostick 71 died at home in Bremond on Thursday November 21. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church Bremond on Friday November 22 with Rev. Andy Bratcher officiating. Burial in Bremond Cemetery. Survived by widow Irene Hardy Bostick a daughter Barbara Mauldin and eight siblings plus grandchildren including Sue Herrin. He was a World War I veteran, Mason and Baptist.

Funeral services for Victor Lockett held at Heartfield Funeral Home chapel at 3 p m Sunday November 24 with Rev James Scirrett officiating. Interment in Norwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were W S Hoyt Jr L W Parkins Walter L Smith W D Pringle C P Henry and Paul Hurst. Born June 16 1887 in Hearne he died November 23 in Hearne at 81. Five months later he was a retired brick mason and WWI veteran and member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by one brother Shad Lockett of Hearne.

Last Rites Held For Mrs. Berger in Bryan

Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Berger were held November 22 at Hiller Funeral Home chapel in Bryan with a Requiem Mass at St. Joseph's Church. The Rt. Rev. T. J. Valenta officiated. Burial was at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Surviving are four sons Walter, Milton, Bill, and Henry. two daughters Mrs. H. H. Butler and Mrs. F. E. Bond. 18 grandchildren. four great grandchildren. five sisters. three brothers. John Amos of La Habra and James Amos of Deer Park visited, with extended relatives in Hearne and Burleson as weekend guests.
