Rural Texas schools propose a single countywide graduation day with an onstage pageant, diplomas, and a picnic. The plan, supported by county teachers, leverages good roads and autos to gather graduates and families for a day of bands, speeches, and school pride.
The Agriculture Department estimates Washington area cotton possible yield around 15,226,000 bales as of October 18 with 44.231 million acres to harvest and varying abandonment rates by state. New York Colonel Thomas W. Miller former alien property custodian four German and Swiss citizens and three German and Swiss corporations were indicted by a special federal grand jury on charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States government. The案 indictments concern the release of about 7 000 000 dollars in sequestered assets of the American Metal Company representing the sale of a 49 percent alleged enemy interest to pretended Swiss owners.
