A praise filled editorial lauds Herbert Hoover for organizing food supply during wartime. It notes his Belgium relief work, Wilson’s delegation of power, and calls for broad national food conservation measures including a Food Conservation Day and stricter penalties for food gambling.

Alma Sowders went to Gause to visit relatives Sunday. Carl McNeil of Sour Lake is visiting his parents here. Fannie and Margaret Middleton visited Aunt Marion Bishop Saturday and Sunday. A light shower fell Sunday, badly needed.
