FHA Approves 103000 Loan For Franklin Club
Cong W R Bob Poage announced the Farmers Home Administration approved a 103000 insured loan to develop a recreational area near Franklin. The project covers 93 acres, buying timber and grass land and building a club house nine hole golf course picnic area swimming pool and riding area for Oak Grove Country Club. The non profit club of 104 members paid 6270 of the cost plus the loan. Members will pay dues and non member fees to fund operations. The park will serve Franklin Bremond and surrounding residents. About 2000 live nearby and 500 others are expected to use the facilities yearly.
