Gause Comings And Goings

Mrs. Wanda Lee Thomas Gray Ferguson of Levedale California visited her sister Emmagene Goode. They traveled to Dallas for a specialist consultation. Mrs. Goode recovering slowly from pneumonia. They planned a brief change of scenery and boarded the Diane in Bryan. Neva Rudick and son Charles Wayne left for Lubbock to visit relatives. Frank Ealand of Jasper and family visited here. Jim Harlan returned from Hearne hospital. Various local visits and a hospital note on Terri Kyle’s brain tumor operation and return to Brackenridge. News of Mae Fowler and family in Cameron, Nellie Johnson moving to Cleveland, and Turner a patient in Hearne hospital. Adrien McCowen received a church shower after a fire loss. Boy Scouts held a regular meeting at the Scout House. Gill Geese and Geese school teachers attended an educational meeting.

Saddle Slants By Elaine Gallagher

The Hearne Saddle Club looks to a prosperous year with members urged to assist in activities. Roping is paused for winter. monthly meetings begin February 2 at 7 30 p m in the American Legion Hall with refreshments and fellowship after each session. Dues for 1965 are due now.
