Homer Lomax Killed In Accident Near Hearne
Homer Boots Lomax of Franklin was killed Monday morning in a one car crash four miles northeast of Hearne on the Franklin highway. The Plymouth sedan struck a telephone pole after leaving the highway. Lomax died moments after Patrolman Fred Forsthoff arrived. Justice of the Peace Jack A. Mathews ruled accidental death due to a broken neck and possible heart seizure.

Scouts from 67 Cub and Boy Scout units in Robert son Madison Burleson and Brazos Counties are door to door selling tickets to Scout Circus 76 chaired by Ralph McCormick of Bryan.
