Tom Brashear a Hearne city alderman and one of three up for reelection will not seek another term. Grady Griffin will run for re election while John H Miles Jr is undecided. Mayor Jake Abrams and other officials are not up this year. Brashear cites business duties and civic responsibilities and urges younger and sound businessmen to run for council to bring fresh ideas.
