Bergstrom hosts civilian open house for low-flying jet training

At Bergstrom Air Force Base Texas an open house explained the RF 4C Phantom II recon jets training civilians in low altitude photography for Asia missions. Jets fly about 550 mph at 500 to 1500 feet with routes mapped by seconds and avoid sonic booms by staying below supersonic speed. Training runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and resume after dark with pilots practicing precise low level routes.

Public Relations Course Planned by Chamber

Free Kiddie Show On December 16 At Chatmas Theatre

Wearne Chapter 722 Order of the Eastern Star will hold its regular meeting Tuesday December 12 at 7:30 pm in Golden Rule Masonic Lodge hall.
