Town and district leaders rally voters to approve a 40000 bond to buy land and build a new high school. Despite prior defeats, supporters emphasize education, community growth, and need for unity on March 29 as business hinges on turnout. District Attorney William H. Donahue explains voting eligibility for Union High School District Three bond election on March 29 1912. Any person on the Great Register or newly registered since January 1st who resides in the precinct, and registered at least thirty days before the election, may vote. Voters may be challenged and must take an oath confirming US citizenship age residence and registration.
A lively social gathering was held Saturday evening in the parlors of the Methodist Church. The event featured vocal solos by the Robinson sisters, group singing, and several harmony games. Refreshments were served, and the proceeds benefited the Organ Fund through the Epworth League Society.
A letter to J C McKown from J C Hayen dated February 27 in Nehuerachle Chihuahua Mexico details Newton W Armstrong's death on February 16 due to hemorrhage of the brain with gradual paralysis. The letter notes rebel movements under General Antonio Rojas Hedju near Juarez and that foreigners were treated well under Rojas's orders.
The Jenkins School of Music in Oakland near Piedmont and College avenues offers violin, cello, flute, voice, harmony and original composition with Ming Jenkins as director. A special course prepares students to become teachers. The Children's Department is supervised by Miss Jenkins with teachers visiting homes weekly.
Sunday evening at the Union Service Rev J E Thompson spoke on a suggested Special Center concept for the new high school. The idea, once promoted by Mr Naylor, envisions nearby neighborhoods forming a Serial Center network. A large audience braved bad weather to hear the discussion and the San Francisco guests received warm appreciation.
A Sacramento Union item questions if attendees at a recent Pondle Dog cafe dinner are members of Frank Newbert’s game protective association. It notes Newbert, a Sacramento member of the State Fish and Game Commission, sought to remove Hayward’s late game fare to Fol- 130m.
In Hanford a vendor named J. W. Daviy sold 250 chickens weighing 155 Iba at 17.50 dollars or per pound. The Plymouth Rock and Brahma varieties were hatched and sold at the event continuing local poultry trade.
Notices publish two actions. First, administrator Thomas J. Petersen seeks creditors to present claims within four months at F I Lemos Law, Hayward, California. Second, Town of Hayward invites sealed bids for 60 feet of fire hose and equipment, due April 3, 1912, with bond and contract requirements.

Notice is given that Haywards Bank of Savings will hold a stockholders meeting on March 19, 1912, at 2 oclock in Haywards to consider increasing capital stock from 25000 to 50000 dollars. The increase would divide into 500 shares of 100 dollars each. J F Farnum, secretary, Haywards Bank of Savings.
Pursuant to order of the Board of Directors of Bank of Haywards a corporation in California stockholders are summoned to meet at the bank building in Haywards Alameda County March 1912 in the afternoon to consider increasing capital stock from twenty five thousand dollars to fifty thousand dollars and to convert a portion of net earnings into paid up capital stock by order of Secretary Farnum dated January 10 1912
