Rasmus Nissen Buried After Tuesday Funeral

The funeral for the late Rasmus Nissen was held Tuesday morning at Sorensen Bros chapel with Rev. B Dent Naylor of the Congregational Church officiating. Baritone Charles Sorenson sang Nearer My God to Thee. Interment followed at Lone Tree Cemetery. A widow Mrs Mary Nissen and brother J K Nissen survive. pallbearers were H H Sorensen Hans Sorensen J Peter Sorensen Hans Angersen Jens L Christensen and Martin Tacker.

McConaghy Funeral Held At San Lorenzo Pioneer

The funeral of Mrs. Sarah McConaghy, San Lorenzo pioneer Indy, took place from the family home, with large attendance from across the county. Rev. W. Bissel officiated, a quartet sang, and over twenty four automobiles and many carriages accompanied the pallbearers J D Armstrong FE C Webb Jobo Marlin E C Perkins B Strobridge H Helsel. The remains were buried in the family plot. Separately Sheriff Barnet and Deputy Soares investigated a rumor of a murder in Hayward before confirming the death of W A Petereem was accidental after an inquest with Coroner Gos.
