Funeral Service Set for Hayward Officer Vierria
Funeral services for Hayward police officer George Enos Vierria, killed in line of duty Monday night, will be held Thursday with Pratt Mortuary in charge. Procession from the mortuary chapel starts at 5 AM followed by a requiem mass at All Saints Catholic Church at 10 AM. Vierria, a 38 year old Oakland native, served 15 years on the force and is survived by a wife Virginis and son Howard, with siblings and parents named.
