Mr and Mrs Tanda M Toss were held in superior court on charges they swindled 7000 in the sale of an allegedly defective fruit processing formula. Hayward residents Mr and Mrs Ron M Scuteherd testified. Bail was reduced to 2500 each after previously being set at 3000. The duo was brought from South Bend by Sheriff C J Hagen with extradition papers.
