Boy Held For Attempted Sale Of Stolen Bicycle
An Oakland youth, 11 or 12, was detained after trying to sell a bicycle he had stolen. The boy, seen on Highway 50 with the bike near Peralta Street, later confessed to taking the bicycle from in front of Hurst School and hiding it on a private road before planning to sell it to Arthur Lamb. He was taken to the detention home in Oakland for investigation.
