Willie J Bridges 56 Oakland collided with St John J. Evans 24 Stockton Army Air Force and Dora Anne Lee of Stockton. Leslie Wilkins 40 and Jose Wilkins 31 of 908 Kirkham Court Oakland injured when Wilkins car hit a truck driven by William Henderson 27 of Los Angeles on the Dublin road Saturday at 5 p m. Leslie suffered a knee injury and Jose multiple injuries to knee finger hand and eye.

Show Boat Memorial to Jerome Kern Dies in New York
Jerome Kern, composer of Show Boat and many musicals, died at Doctors Hospital after a cerebral hemorrhage. A new production of Show Boat at the Ziegfeld Theater will open in January as a memorial to Kern, who collaborated with Oscar Hammerstein II. His last work likely will be used as the finale.
