GM Strike Ends Officially After 119 Days

Man Arrested For Russell City Shooting
Raymond Roja was arrested at Fairfield and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed weapon after a shooting Sunday night in Russell City that wounded Alfred Cruz age 20 at 26096 Washington Street. Cruz and four companions were nearby when Roja, head of the Alameda County jail, allegedly threatened him over selling marijuana cigarettes. He will appear in Hayward court tomorrow.
