Auxiliary Initiates 24 for Thursday Rites at Legion Hall
About 24 women related to World War veterans will be initiated by the American Legion Auxiliary in a Thursday ceremony at the American Legion hall. State and local Auxiliary officials will conduct the rite, with Mrs. Alyce Firon as president and Mrs. Ethy Firon and Mrs. Elizabeth Grindell assisting. Attendees include Legion members and guests from Niles. Refreshments, dancing, and cards will follow.
