Captain C. J. Hannah, longtime Pacific Mail Steamship Company mariner and Castro Valley resident for 17 years, died Wednesday at his home. Survived by brother Mell Young of Eureka, born in Canada 66 years ago, funeral Saturday at 2 PM from Sorensen Brothers parlors with Sycamore lodge Odd Fellows rites, burial at Lone Tree cemetery.
