Sailors Held For Theft Near Oakland
Negro youths and 211 sailors were held at Hayward for transfer to Oakland police in a car theft investigation. The stolen vehicle, a 194 Buick, was spotted on A Street near Pergola Hill by sheriff deputies. Records from the county sheriff and parish authorities show three dog bite cases treated at local hospitals on Saturday.
