Presno paid 50 dollars for reckless driving and Jensen was fined 2 dollars for driving with a cutout open. A new speed law by Captain L A E of the Alameda County traffic squad will take effect July 26 allowing 9 miles per hour on open highways and sets arrests and jail time for speeds over 35 mph.
