Man Promises to Obey Quarantine in Justice Court
Frank N Esteves of Atherton street near Jackson street pled to observe quarantine rules after six days in county jail. Judge Jacob Harder Jr. suspended a 30 day sentence. Dr Nels Clemens, health officer, charged him with failing to stay at home during diphtheria quarantine. A Chinese man Mounock of Oakland got one month in jail for speeding and holding lottery tickets, vagrancy. Hayward men Fred Boess and W F McCrea were fined 2 dollars each for parking over the two hour limit. Floyd A McKee of Richmond and Henry J Kelleher were fined 10 dollars each for speeding.
