Auto Crash Kills Two Sisters in Alameda County
Betty Anne Reverdy 24 and Ruby Jewel Severe 40, both of Oxnard, died after a collision at 160th Avenue and East 4th Street last night. Injured passenger Sue Reverdy, a 21 year old, was released from Fairmont Hospital. Edith Terwilleger, 53, at 943 A Street, remained in shock. The crash involved Sir Ralph Parrish, 38, US Army, San Leandro, and Joe Cortex Bega, 23, San Leandro. both drivers said they did not see the other car. The sisters had been living in Hayward and were visiting Mrs Florence Ball when the accident occurred. The father of Sue Reverdy is in the service.
