Sunday School attendance at the Presbyterian Church set a new record with 475 participants marking homecoming. Classes performed special exercises including songs and whistling by Mrs. Cottrel. Await Permission To Place Signs In Hayward
Hayward chamber officials and rodeo leaders await permission from the State Railways Commission to install electric welcome signs at key city entrances. Hugo Frank, general chairman, expects approval by week’s end.
