Town trustees approve street paving and contracts
Town trustees met Wednesday evening and awarded paving and construction bids. Barber Asphalt Co. won the Tt and Main crossing paving for 273.8 dollars. DP Mathisen won Third street concrete walls for 4200 dollars and a curb across Watking street for 432 dollars. Kurher Asphalt Co. was paid 1632.96 for A Main street paving. One street sweeping bid was rejected. Old lumber sale and Buena Vista avenue matters referred to committees. Adjourned to August 23.
