Hayward traffic officer F. E. Macabee, off duty with his wife and child in a loaded flivver, chased John J. Rego at high speed through Hayward and arrested him for reckless driving. Rego’s escape left a trail of peaches. Lindstrom paid 50 dollars for reckless driving in Oakland. Walker and Ali each paid 25 dollars for racing on Castro street at midnight.

Little Girl Called By Grim Reaper
The death of Jacqueline Graff three and one half years old, daughter of Mr and Mrs John C Graff, occurred at 11 26 Sunday in Henning. She had been ill for a month. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 from Sorenson Brothers Funeral Parlors with an Episcopalian minister officiating. Cremation will follow in Oakland.

Late Jens Hansen Laid to Rest in Russell City Farewell
The rancher Jens Hansen known in Russell City for 69 years was honored Saturday at Sorenson Brothers Funeral Homes. Rev. Josiah Daniel officiated the service and Mt. Eden cemetery received the interment. Hansen, an invalid fire for four years, moved to Oakland to live with a daughter and died August 12 at their home. He is survived by three sons and a daughter.
