Death note leads to suicide in Medford area
Joseph Zunino 44 of Box 125 Medford Avenue shot himself Thursday night leaving a note in Italian saying his stepmother in Italy had died and he wished to join her. His body was found Friday morning by Frank Smith of Ashland after his daughter Katherine Rizzoli entered the home and found the note. The 38 caliber pistol was in his hand. an inquest is planned. He was born in Italy and had farmed locally. survived by a son John Zunino. Funeral arrangements are by Pratt mortuary.
