Death of Roy Cromeenes Reported in Denver
The Caruthersville Republican notes Roy Cromeenes died in Denver from tuberculosis in the disease’s last stages. He left town last April in poor health, his wife Miss Dulele Bryant followed weeks later. The remains will be brought home for burial.

Mrs. W. T. Nethery Dies After Illness
Mrs. W T Nethery died Saturday morning at eight in her city home after three weeks illness from pneumonia followed by influenza. She was the foster daughter of Dr. and Mrs W A Crockett of Caruthersville and taught in that city’s schools. She leaves a husband and a son almost two years old, with many friends in both communities. Funeral services were held in this city Monday and the remains were later taken by night train to Montgomery City. Dr and Mrs Crockett and Mrs Nethery were present in her final hours. The Herald extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
