The Hawaii Jockey Club convened a rousing meeting at the Pacific Club with over thirty members present and many proxies. A detailed race program was adopted, purses total about 3200, and the club aims to clear its debts while expecting a stronger financial stance next year.
Local racing society announces new members W H Smith W H Metherny D P Hutchins F A Luker C H Brown J C Cohen C H W Norton Lieutenant Hancock and Tom Hollinger. Aleck Harris leaves training. Edith L Albert and Harry B horses shift to Frank Garrison. Harris now dedicates himself to track work. Colonel Spaulding’s Kauai horses expected next Sunday trained by Garrison.
