Burial plans incomplete for soldiers' remains from Europe
Parents and relatives are assured that bodies of soldiers buried in France may be brought home after the national emergency. No definite plans exist yet and offers to pay all expenses cannot wait. Demobilization of troops will hasten transfers once graves are identified. Bodies from Germany cannot return sooner than those in France. Transferred remains will go to families for private burial or be interred in an American National Cemetery in France.
