Prosecutors Consider Manslaughter Charges in Rockingham Crash
Prosecutors plan involuntary manslaughter charges against Jorge Gonzalez-Escobar 20 for a deadly rear end crash on U S 11 near Va 798 in northern Rockingham County. The 1994 Dodge Caravan struck the 2001 Dodge Dakota driven by elementary teacher Jason Matthew Morris at about 10 20 p m Saturday. Witnesses say Gonzalez-Escobar may have been traveling as fast as 100 mph and police report he was driving drunk.
