Four Harrisonburg and Rockingham County high school juniors won Freedom Foundation scholarships to a Valley Forge program October 21 to 24. Barbara Ann Harrison, Dana Patterson, Mary T Sullivan, and Sharon Ulrich will travel with Turner Ashby teacher Nancy Jones who arranged the awards.
A Virginia report clarifies the arrest of Janet Margaret Honan, 21, a James Madison University student, for driving under the influence after a misspelling appeared in Monday’s Daily News Record. The correction notes Honan’s name was previously misspelled in the publication.
