City Bridge Replaced in 1.7 Million Project
Harrisonburg will replace the 45 year old Pleasant Valley Road bridge over Blacks Run with a 1.7 million project. The plan includes widening Pleasant Valley to three lanes near the bridge. A 750,000 grant from the Virginia Department of Transportation funds part of the cost, with the city matching 1.0 million plus 230,000 for engineering and design.
