City Acts To Curb House To House Canvassing
The City Council passed an ordinance to regulate house to house canvassing. It requires solicitors to obtain a license and deposit a $500 bond to protect the public and city revenue. Citizens are urged to demand a license display and report unlicensed canvassers to city officials. Rev. P. I. Garber visited Greenmount yesterday.
