A Wednesday night pound party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. P I Garber near Harrisonburg. Guests included Lois Long Anna Garber Catherine Rondeffer Evelyn Miller Hallie Cottman Virginia Mariam Miller and many others with Bridgewater College matron Mrs Rothgeb in attendance.
Mrs H L Lineweaver traveled to Baltimore to visit her son and daughter in law Mr and Mrs A A Lineweaver. She was accompanied by Evangeline Gaines sister of Mrs A A Lineweaver. Miss Bettie Jones Waterman School principal spent the weekend with friends near Charlottesville.
Mount Habroy Sunday School elected Miss Fine Whitesell as delegate to the State Sunday School Convention in Roanoke on June 17 18 and 19. Visitors included Mr and Mrs John W Rhodes and W W Whitesell and daughter Ethel. Andrew Thomas and Mrs Whitfield Sandy will teach the 26 26 session at Union School. Whitfield Sandy purchased Ole Rhodes home and will move this summer.
A string of visits and travels across Virginia and nearby areas highlights a busy weekend. Miss Lina Yeakle and family vacationed at Pleasant Valley QC while relatives, friends, and guests journeyed between Richmond Nor folk Woodberry Forest School Washington Philadelphia Baltimore and Winchester to visit kin and attend events.
